According to SMM, the premiums and discounts for TD warrants of standard silver ingots in Shanghai remained at 4-5 yuan/kg in the morning session, but the actual transactions tended to narrow the premium negotiations, and some suppliers suspended quotations after their inventories were sold out. The discounts for large smelter silver ingots against the SHFE silver 2506 contract were 2-3 yuan/kg, while the discounts for standard silver ingots against the SHFE silver 2506 contract were 4-5 yuan/kg. A smelter in North China quoted a discount of 12 yuan/kg for ex-factory standard silver ingots against the SHFE silver 2506 contract. The precious metals market showed a weak trend this week, with silver prices fluctuating and consolidating. The spot market was dominated by a wait-and-see sentiment, and downstream enterprises cautiously purchased based on rigid demand, resulting in sluggish market transactions.
